If you are like me, you have ordered biltong as slabs and pre-sliced slabs from a bunch of companies promising the real deal. It's pricey, and there was a dry piece or two and a bit of fat that hadn't been properly flavored, but it is the next best thing to a freshly sliced wet and fat slab. If you can afford this treat, don't waste your money on the less expensive stuff -this is what you are missing.
